So I had some left over candle jars I cleaned out to recycle and stopped at a thrift store for my vase. $1.50 for my vase, what a steal! Ive had the cleaned out candle jars kicking around in my glass cupboard! lol I picked up 2 kinds of carnations and some babies breath from Wegmans, they have quiet a bit of nice flowers there. I personally love carnations; they a very budget friendly and come in many colors!
I also stopped at the dollar store for some lace doilies, 4 for a dollar! I wrapped the glass with the doilies and used frosted spray paint to give it a little extra embellishment. You could easily use pasta jars with a ribbon or strand of beads wrapped around the threaded top. Total cost about $20. Wouldn’t these be perfect for a garden party, a shower, or wedding?
Heres some fun pictures of the finished look. Its simple but could be made more elaborate. I’ll have more fun DIY decor posts, I have tons of fun jars and such to recycle! You ready?
This is gorgeous!! I can tell you put a TON of work into it, and it paid off!! I love love love your style and your images!!
